Located on the western side of Arches National Park, near the old park entrance, is Herdina Park. The current Willow Flats four-wheel drive road was once used to access the park from 1936 to 1958 and passed this area.
While there are not many arches in Herdina Park, this is still a great place to visit and explore its secluded fins and canyons. The largest span in this area is Leaping Arch with a light opening of 50 feet. Nearby Eye of the Whale Arch is also a must see.
