Windows Section

Arches National Park

A long time focal point for park visitors, the Windows Section has more "grand" arches than any other area in Arches National Park. Five of the top ten arches, by size of light openings, are located here. They include Biceps Arch, Double Arch South, Double Arch West, North Window and South Window. The average light opening for these five arches is 106 feet.

The first campground for visitors was located near here, at the east end of the Willow Flats road which was used to access the park from the late 1930's to early 1950's.
