Bryce Canyon National Park

Although Bryce Canyon is the smallest of the national parks in the state of Utah, it is undoubtedly one of the most scenic parks in the world.

The eighteen mile-long park road offers outstanding viewpoints in to a series of fourteen large, horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters carved in limestone from the eastern edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. The weathering forces of frost and rainwater have shaped the colorful limestone rock of the Claron Formation into slot canyons, fins, spires, and natural arches that will stretch anyone's imagination.

Hiking is a "must do" if you truly want to experience the spirit of Bryce Canyon. The park offers several hiking trails from easy hikes to backcountry hiking.
